Surveillance Security Through CCTV Monitoring and Playback
Blanket CCTV coverage that integrates with our internet protocol (IP) services gives Spear Security personnel a clear view of your property and allows us to notify the authorities and on-site staff when danger may be present. Coordinating responses is made easier because we can track potentially suspicious or unwanted individuals as they move throughout the property.Security surveillance recordings then allow for playback so that events can be cataloged and bad actors identified. Recordings can also serve as evidence should an incident require further scrutiny.
ProxiGuard Touring Tech Provides a Clear Picture and Accountability
In line with our commitment to using state-of-the-art technology, we have partnered with ProxiGuard. This guard touring software and equipment allows us to track our security teams in real-time so we can monitor patrol routes, vital areas, and more.
Combining this technology with live video feeds from our CCTV coverage puts us in the best position to make important calls on security responses without compromising other areas of our protective umbrella. Improved coordination and flexibility mean our clients get the highest level of protection.
ProxiGuard also helps us maintain accountability with up-to-date record keeping. Our teams know that their only path forward is through careful and thorough completion of their responsibilities, so your around-the-clock protection remains sharp and vigilant throughout each shift.
Security Surveillance Service: FAQs
Where does Spear perform camera observation?
On-site, as part of an agreed guard assignment. Spear does not offer remote surveillance. Discuss the property’s existing cameras, observation location and other guard duties so the scope is clear before service begins.
Can camera observation and physical patrols be part of the same plan?
Yes, but time at a monitor and time patrolling are different duties. Identify what needs continuous attention and how other areas are covered. Compare on-site security and vehicle patrols when discussing the arrangement.
Does a surveillance assignment include installing or repairing cameras?
Do not assume equipment installation, repair, storage or system administration is included. Explain the system already in place and the duties you want performed. Spear can assess the guard assignment; equipment responsibilities need to be agreed separately.
Can an on-site guard watch every camera and entrance at once?
The assignment needs realistic priorities. The number of views, access duties and other responsibilities affect what one officer can observe. Discuss the areas that matter most and any need for a continuing post before agreeing staffing.
What should we prepare for an on-site surveillance consultation?
Provide the address, requested hours, existing camera arrangement, areas observed and management contacts. Explain what should be reported and how the guard’s observation duties fit with access or patrol work. Avoid sharing camera passwords or system credentials in a general inquiry.
