While a quietly stern demeanor is typically required in tense situations, when these issues are not present, Spear Security personnel are trained to be approachable, relatively low-profile, and always helpful. Our role is to support your property’s daily operations within the agreed security assignment.
On-Site Security Service: FAQs
What does a dedicated on-site security assignment provide?
It places an unarmed guard at an agreed property or post during the contracted hours. Duties can include access procedures, observation, visitor assistance and reporting. The proposal should identify the covered areas and responsibilities rather than assuming presence alone defines the service.
How is an on-site post different from scheduled patrol visits?
A stationed officer remains assigned during the agreed coverage period. Vehicle patrol visits address specified checks and do not automatically provide a continuous presence. Explain whether people need access to a guard throughout the shift.
Can an on-site officer support a building’s front entrance?
Yes, discuss visitor procedures, deliveries and the management contact responsible for entry decisions. Our building security services address entrance and shared-area planning. Confirm any patrol duties that would take the officer away from that post.
Can coverage be arranged around our normal operating schedule?
Tell Spear the days and hours needed, including arrivals or departures outside public opening hours. The schedule, staffing and availability must be confirmed for the assignment. Recurring coverage and a limited request can involve different planning needs.
How should a property manager prepare instructions for the assigned guard?
Set out access rules, covered areas, contacts, reporting needs and procedures for concerns outside the guard’s role. Keep instructions current when the property changes. A clear management contact helps the team resolve questions without receiving conflicting directions.
