Effective date: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used through the Spear Security Denver website at www.spearsecuritydenver.com. It covers website inquiries, quote requests, online job applications, and website operation. Information handled through a client engagement or employment relationship may also be subject to separate notices or agreements.
Information you provide
You choose what information to submit through our website. The information requested depends on the form:
- Quote requests: name, company name, email address, phone number, requested service, facility type and ZIP code, coverage dates and hours, referral information, and additional details you provide.
- Contact messages: name, phone number, email address, your message, and how you heard about Spear.
- Job applications: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and how you heard about Spear.
Submit only the information needed for your inquiry or application. Information you choose to include in an open message field becomes part of that submission.
How website information is used
Spear uses information submitted through the website to respond to inquiries, discuss requested security services, and review employment inquiries. Website administration also involves delivering form notifications, maintaining records and backups, preventing spam and abuse, and measuring website use.
Form submissions are stored in the website database and can be included in email notifications. Personnel handling inquiries and authorized website administrators can access records as part of those activities.
Website activity, analytics, and cookies
Website services can process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, and request times. The website uses Google Analytics and website statistics provided by Automattic to measure activity. Measurement includes website visits and events such as phone-link clicks and successful form submissions.
Cookies and similar technologies support website operation, measurement, security, and administration. A short-lived first-party cookie is also used to verify a successful form submission for measurement; it is configured to expire after approximately ten minutes. Cookies used by other services can have different lifetimes.
Google explains its processing in its Privacy Policy and its information about sites and apps that use Google services. Automattic provides privacy information for its website services.
Spam protection and website security
The website uses Google reCAPTCHA to help screen automated form submissions. Google processes information for that service under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Website security tools can process request and technical information to help identify abuse and protect the website.
Hosting, service providers, and backups
Website information is processed through services used for hosting, email delivery, administration, security, analytics, and backups. The website is hosted with Bluehost. Routine website backups are stored in Google Drive. Backup copies can include stored form submissions.
The information a provider processes depends on its function. For example, the website host stores website records, while analytics and spam-protection services process information associated with those features. A provider’s involvement does not mean that every form submission is sent to every provider. Providers’ own privacy notices describe their processing.
Retention of website records
The website forms do not currently have an automatic deletion period configured for stored submissions. Copies may also exist in notification emails and routine backups, which are managed separately. Deleting a website entry does not necessarily remove every copy immediately.
To ask about information associated with an inquiry or application, or to request a correction or deletion, use the contact details below. Requests may be subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can limit or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or third-party services can affect website features, including form verification. You can contact Spear by phone or email if you prefer not to use a website form.
Contact Spear to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. Provide enough detail to identify the inquiry or application involved; additional information may be needed to locate records and verify a request. Rights and any exceptions depend on the applicable law and circumstances.
Other websites and policy updates
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This policy may be updated as website features or practices change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
